Matt Cadwell is a managing attorney in the Family Law Division at Boyd Law. Mr. Cadwell is a Certified Family Law Specialist (CFLS). His practice focuses exclusively on family law matters, including dissolution and legal separation proceedings, child custody and visitation including child custody investigations, property division including experience with forensic evaluations, child support, spousal support, post judgment modifications, establishment of parental relationships, review of marital settlement agreements and contempt proceedings. Mr. Cadwell has had the pleasure of working with high net worth clientele, teachers, members of the armed services, border patrol, Hollywood executives, entertainers and a politician.

Mr. Cadwell is a member of the State Bar of California, the Orange and Los Angeles County Bar Associations and the Board of Trustees for the Iota Nu Chapter of Alpha Tau Omega. Mr. Cadwell attended Western State University College of Law, where he participated in the Family Law Legal Clinic, which included representing clients in various stages of family law proceedings as a certified law student.

Prior to joining Boyd Law, Mr. Cadwell was the lead family law attorney at a boutique firm in Los Angeles. Mr. Cadwell’s vigorous advocacy and attention to detail were crucial in his successful representation of clients. Mr. Cadwell has displayed a unique ability to negotiate and mediate family law disputes in an efficient and cost effective manner.
